SERVICES

Individual Sessions

Each S2C session involves an age appropriate lesson for the speller to learn educational content while practicing the motor skills for spelling. As spellers gain accuracy, they will progress up the hierarchy of boards, moving from spelling on boards to typing on keyboards. Sessions will include family coaching so families are prepared to guide their loved ones at home.

In home sessions may be available for families near the Port Huron area. School or center based visits can also be arranged. All other sessions will be located in Rachel's home office.

Intensives

For families who are unable to travel for frequent sessions, ask about scheduling an intensive consisting of two sessions per day for two to three consecutive days.

Parent and Communication
Partner Training

Communication regulation partner (CRP) training is available in person and online for parents and anyone who will be working frequently with a speller. Online training can be done through video instruction and feedback videos submitted for review. Our goal is to equip parents, teachers, aides, and others in a speller's life with the skills they need to confidently support communication skills.

Community Outreach

We are dedicated to being a valuable resource for those who are wanting to learn more about communication for individuals with sensory-motor differences. We are available to give presentations for groups in the community who serve these individuals. Contact us to set up a presentation for your school, church, therapy center, or advocacy organization. We always love an opportunity to encourage people to presume competence and give nonspeakers tools to succeed!

**At this time, we provide S2C services on a private pay basis and are unable to accept insurance. Please contact us for information about fees and payment options.
